Arthur Gray at March 2008 meeting
Renown collector Arthur Gray,( yes, that's the same Arthur Gray who achieved a record Auction result for his Kangaroo and Map collection at Shreeves New York Auction in early 2007) was guest speaker at the March TPS meeting. Members and guests were stunned by the scope of the early Australian material displayed.

Essays, Die Proofs, Plate proofs, major flaws, rare covers and much other material from the early Issues of the C'wealth to KGV were on display. Arthur detailed the history of the early stamps, telling the story of the politics surrounding the issues as well the background to the various issues and cover.Its likely that Arthur will be guest speaker at a future TPS meeting - an opportunity not to be missed!
