The TPS  will publish the completely revised and enlarged listings and rarity ratings for the circular date stamps on Tasmanian Pictorials. This is the result of  many years of work by Postal History author John Hardinge.

The “Guide to circular date stamps on the Tasmanian Pictorial stamps” is 48 pages, full colour and published in durable high quality paper.

Contents include:

  • New revised and enlarged rarity ratings
  • Early and Late dates
  • Date stamp types
  • Other markings seen on the Pictorial stamps
  • Transition to the Comonwealth stamps and cut-off for State ratings

    Its still $7.40 in Australian Dollars despite recent Australia Post increases. Our exchange rate has not been this low for years so its not going to be anything like as much in US dollars.
